A Shalwar Kameez is a dress with Muslim origin. It is similar to a pant and shirt. The Shalwar means pant and Kameez means shirt. But the dress is much looser than pant and shirt. A long scarf is also taken with the dress. This can be used by Hindu or Muslim ladies for covering their head while entering a sacred place. Otherwise it can be used as a stylish accessory. How to choose a Shalwar Kameez
If you are thin, you should wear a loose fitting Kameez. If you are having fats around your stomach, you can use the Shalwar string to make the Shalwar tight so that your stomach fats remain hidden. Kameez with covered neck is good for short people but long people must have open neck Shalwar. If you are having dark colored skin you should wear dark colored Shalwar Kameez. If you wear a longer Kameez you would look longer. If you are fat, you should avoid sleeveless Kameez and take at least a small length sleeve.
